Passionate, fiery and tormented: such is the relationship of Hussam Aliwat with his Oud. At the age of 12, Aliwat adopted the instrument, as other teenagers would with an electric guitar. He then spent hours of work, self-teaching, practicing, away from traditions and formal music lessons, experiencing with a complete freedom and a troubling obsession.

Hussam launched his first album Born Now in a sold out concert at Café De La Danse, one of the most well known concert halls in paris. Hussam is still touring to perform his first album as he works on the creation of his second album to be released in 2023.”
