With nearly two decades of experience in the alternative print media industry, Anto Arief has established himself as a valuable member of the editorial team. His impressive resume includes work with Ripple and SOAP magazines, as well as co-founding and serving as editor-in-chief of Still Loving Youth magazine. Anto is also a skilled musician, having released an album and EP with his band 70s Orgasm Club/70sOC and playing guitar for Tulus for seven years, contributing to his first two albums. Anto holds a design degree from the National Institute of Technology (ITENAS) and a master’s degree in Fine Arts Curation from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). Currently, he is dedicated to his career as a music journalist and proudly serves as editor-in-chief of Pophariini.com.

Poom Piyasu Komaradat

Poom Piyasu Komaradat is based in Bangkok, Thailand and worked within the music industry for 20 years. He is a founder and CEO of independent record label, Parinam Music since 2007, and an independent concert promoter and organizer,Seen Scene Space since 2014. In parallel with Parinam Music, Poom established Seen Scene Space as an independent concert promoter and organizer in 2014. The goal is to deliver live acts from around the world to Thai-fan bases and to create Bangkok being Asia’s main music hub. Seen Scene Space archives more than 80 shows in total since 2014. Moreover, Seen Scene Space is one of collaboration by top 3 Thai concert promoters for international independent music festival named “Maho Rasop Music Festival” giving best selection of international and local artists, arts, food, and cultural activities for everyone.

Mak Wai Hoo

Malaysia



Mak is a pivotal force behind the Malaysian local independent music scene. He is instrumental to releasing genre-defying musicians such as Liyana Fizi, NAO, Citizens of Ice Cream and Dirgahayu through his own record label, Soundscape Records. He is also one of the founding members for Live Fact, a mid-size venue that showcases local acts and touring musicians. He has been instrumental in building the Chinese language fringe scene in the late 1990s. In 2006, Mak has expanded his reach to the bigger urban market, bringing the likes of post-rockers Mogwai, Mono, GY!BE, Explosions in the Sky, Kula Shaker, Russian Cirlces, Tortoise, Warpaint, The Album Leaf, Tycho and many more to Malaysia. Mak is also the backbone behind City ROARS! Festival, an annual festival that featured fringe Asian acts. He’s also the co-founder of ASEAN Music Showcase Festival (AMS), the first international showcase festival in the region.

Sarah Deshita has been involved in the music since the beginning of her career. Starting out as a radio DJ in one of Indonesia’s prominent radio she quickly became a music director. Sarah later on joined Ismaya Live in 2012 birthing many notable music festivals which aligns with her passion of attending music festivals around the globe. Having attended numerous music festivals, Sarah understands the value of a wholly immersive festival experience. Her truly inspiring expertise and experience in the music industry received recognition by fellow peers leading her to receive invitations to be a speaker in several conferences nationally and internationally. Sarah took the time to go back to school to pursue a degree in music business at Point Blank Music School in London, UK. Currently, Sarah is enjoying her time as a mother of one while still working at her field of expertise, music. Now she’s also running her own creative studio, established in 2022 under the MAD Haus group, named Jagjag Studio, aiming to create a more welcoming ecosystem in the music industry.
